diasporan-ism magazine: I
| The first edition of diasporan-ism magazine | A mixed media arts magazine showcasing the diverse talent of diaspora artists. We invite you to hear new perspectives as we bring narratives of marginalised identity and expression to the forefront. Migration is one of the critical issues and discussions of our time, the pieces contained within are first-person contributions to this conversation exploring the critical questions of identity, 'home', community and family.
diasporan-ism is a self-funded project that promotes new artists and their perspectives. Our editors, illustrators and collaborators have worked voluntarily in order to create a magazine that is accessible to all. Printing is not free. We invite you to donate if possible to cover the cost of professional printing and so that we can continue the discussion of all things diaspora. All money received will go towards the cost of printing.
16 art pieces comprising essays, poetry, illustrations, photography and interviews. 68 pages of creativity from 15 artists.
